My situation (me living at home not making any money) weighs on me more and more heavily each day. I'm usually lazy and content to sit around and waste away. But in the last week or so, I've really wanted to find work. It'd basically be a little cash flow thing while I write music. Pay-the-bills kinda thing. I know the kinds of places I wouldn't mind working (as long as it's not around food -- my long hair sheds all over the place), I just wonder if they'll actually accept me. Hell, I applied to four places a few weeks ago, and none of them responded. And here I thought the city was desperate for workers. Anyone out there have "Pauper in Paradise" by Frozen Ghost?

Friday, April 13, 2007 2:43 AM I cannot, even with my excellent command of the English language as well as the level of my linguistic skills, even begin to convey to you all just how much I detest my video card. For those who don't know (which is all of you), my video card and I have been at war since Christmas (You'll have to go back to read about the GeForce 6 that never was). This video card isn't so great. It's an NVidia GeForce 2 GTS/Pro. Not only does it come with one loud fan built on, but it's escalated the war between us as the months have gone by. At first, it would simply freeze Firefox randomly. I guess having something depend on it to render text and 2D images was just too much for it. But now though, it's really escalated the battle. It has now taken to freezing my entire system whenever it feels like it. And yes, it has happened when I've been in the middle of a task. It froze when I was making my LJ post the other day. It froze yesterday as well, when I was in the middle of programming Hydrogen to do the drums for "Inside of me". When Cory comes back (in the middle of May), he and I will set out to upgrade this thing to a non-defiant little bitch that knows when I'm around, to stay in fucking line. I don't need this bullshit aggravation. I'm already pissed off enough as it is.
