hm... haven't been feeling too well lately. Been feeling really down, and as a result, put myself on a harmful 3 day fast. I ended it yesterday though, when I blurted it to Jaymie and she wanted me to eat. Then of course, I tried not to anyway, and she was upset, so I ate in the end.

Well, there's nothing really interesting going on. Work continues (or kontinues?) on Mortal Kombat VII when I feel like it (which hasn't been often lately). I'm also playing through Final Fantasy VIII, and I'm near the end of disc 2. All I have to do is complete some side quests, get Tonberry and the familiar ability, use it to buy some junction scrolls, then I'll be set.

I still maintain my gripe that Final Fantasy VIII sucks, because the most difficult gameplay element of it involves pushing one button a bunch of times really fast. Ooh. Well okay, maybe not. The most is the approach to Bahamut in the research center. You have to walk up to him while the light is dim, and stop when its bright. It makes me wonder... are video games becoming so cinematic that they end up competing with movies? Are there any "video games" anymore? Seems like they're movies for your Playstation.

I joined the Brunchma board... kind of inauspicious. The first person to respond told me to read the FAQ, which I basically have. I avoided the Wax Intellectual forum because of all the bickering... and I still think time doesn't exist, and I still think that it's just a man-made invention that people decided to overanalyze by analyzing it in the first place. Just because we've created clocks doesn't mean we've discovered one of the elements of the universe. Hell, if we haven't even been to Pluto in person yet, I find it hard to believe that someone discovered time (ie. one of the keys to the universe itself) of all things. But I'm rambling.

Jaymie has a couple of interviews this week. I hope everything goes well for her. Well, she's bright, funny, outgoing and pretty and extremely intelligent. They'd be fools not to hire her. I'm sure she'll do fine.

Anyway, I'm out of stuff to talk about again. Later all.

5:46 AM

Ugh... not feeling well today... though it's my own fault. I'm sleeping in 2 hour chunks now, and I haven't eaten anything in a little more than 24 hours. Well, except for a cookie and some corn chips. But that can hardly be called a nutritious meal. So here I am at 4:30 in the morning typing in my blog. As I said to Ruke "Wee, how auspicious".

Mafia on Moonwings is getting underway mostly... things are starting to roll along a lot better. It's hard the first round/day, because no one has much to go on. But that's okay. Once things get going more, it'll be easier to play.

Anyone want to see me and my brother playing in the 2000 NHL All-Star game in Toronto? Email me at Saturnyne1d@netscape.net and tell me. If I get enough messages, then I'll put them up for your viewing pleasure. </ShamelessEmailMessageWanting>

Ugh, I'm tired. As I'll be sleeping in two hour chunks again tonight (after having cleaned the bathroom... apparently Jaymie owes me big), I should probably get going soon. But see, I have to succumb to my addictions first. Harvest Moon and RC Pro AM 2. I'll only play RC Pro AM, as people get up soon, and Harvest Moon is too addicting to just pick up and put back down. And besides, while I'm trying to win Ellen's heart, I've got to expand my farm to include plantations of more stuff, plus I'm saving up to buy a cow. I want to do that all at once, not just pick the game up and complete stuff later.

Work is progressing on Mortal Kombat VII: Mortal Kombat. I've told of how Shao Kahn got to where he was, and how he perverted all the Mortal Kombat tournament stood for since the beginning. It also tells of who Shinnok is, and also features some "Gods of the Realms" with names that are anagrams and/or alterations of the names of my friends. There's Ishten (From Tenshi, of course), Enygmus (From an old nick I used - Enygma Angel), and Cora (Which is a play on my friend Cory's name). The other gods include Rayden, Shao Kahn (who gets cast down because of his desire to take all realms for himself), Dorn and Jad. (Incidentally, the name Dorn was from Michael Dorn, who played Worf in various Star Trek endeavors. Jad is the name of a town in the wonderful game Seiken Densetsu 3).

Anyway, I'm rambling about nothing again. See you out there.

Jaymie-sama, aishiteru...
