Been home exactly a week now, minus the exact time of arrival. It's Labour Day up here in Canada too, which means that I should probably call Cory, unless he's out with his friends or something. I dunno. Doesn't really matter.

I've just been milling around, really. Playing Pokemon Silver on my new Game Boy Advance (I need a magnifier for that thing), and death matching my brother on Red Faction. For anyone who ever death matches me, I go straight for the rocket launcher and fusion rocket launcher. I think making things dead by exploding them. It's fun.

I'm in company of people I've not even so much as spoken to in years... it feels odd. The past comes up often, and mixes with the present. It hurts and it brings joy. It makes me see how much I've changed and how much they've stayed the same. And how I've stayed the same. If forgiveness is the key to unhappiness, then I guess I have afforded myself a life of complete misery.

They're all watching Spaceballs right now. I don't want to watch it, so I'm busying myself by writing in this blog. Just so long as I don't have to listen to it right now. I'm not in the mood for comedy. If anything, I want to play the Resident Evil remake as I did last night, because I've gotten quite a ways through it. I doubt that it's much of an accomplishment, given that I'm on easy mode, but it's better than I thought I'd do. If I had a Game Cube and the RE game, I'd probably be able to go through the mode a few more times to get used to the monsters like the Hunters and such, and then maybe graduate to hard mode. And then, after that, I guess you graduate to Chris. Chris always has the harder game because Chris is an idiot. It seems that the stronger a man is, the stupider he becomes.

Why is it that the stupider something is to do, the cooler someone thinks it is?
