Today... er... night, was one of the hardest nights of work to endure thus far. Not only am I stuck on night shift for the next week, but I also seem to be errand boy to anyone who can get their hands on me. In 5 minutes, I had 4 different people asking me to haul merchandise from the sales floor to the back stockroom. With about 8 other people also hauling goods, we ran out of room in about 20 minutes. And yes, that is bad, because we end up not having enough room to hide all the extra stuff that people won't and don't end up buying by the end of the day.
I'm also not exactly happy for Saku's being with someone. But that's just jealousy talking 'cause I like her a lot. Besides, I'm quite happy with who's got me right now anyway, so it's not that big a deal.
Is it just me, or is everyone I know on Live Journal a) a teenager; and, b) taking everything that happens in their lives with a great degree of hyperbole? I don't mean to demean them or anything, but jeez! Talk about lacking perspective!
Anyway, since Electronics Boutique doesn't seem to have Resident Evil Code: Veronica X yet (It seems Capcom has moved its release to December 2nd), I figure I'll blow my mad money today on buying a used Nintendo 64, then picking up Pokemon Stadium 2. I'll be able to start raising my Silver version Pokemon in a whole new way, which is a good thing.
I also failed to mention that I went out and had some fun Tuesday night with my friend Kristine. It was great. We had some pizza, then went and played pool. We would have done more if I didn't have to go to work, but that's okay because I ended up not going to work anyway. Either way, it'll be cool when she comes back to Calgary to stay for good in February. We'll be able to hang out and stuff, which'll be lots of fun.
As for my teenage friends who I've probably alienated at this point, I offer this: Happiness is an option, and your problems aren't that bad. Oh, and those of us of the male persuasion are NOT bad. At least, not all of us. Some of us (Like me) are good, sensitive, caring, giving guys who want to do something positive for the world around us.
But then again, teenagers aren't supposed to have any kind of perspective of the big picture of life, are they?

Capcom sucks.

I have one more week of night shifts. One more week! Tonight was supposed to be my last night, but of course we're behind schedule on the renovations at Wal-Mart. So I have to endure night shifts for another week. Not fun.
On the lighter side of things, I've started writing up chapters to The War To Be Won. It's a Sailor Moon fanfic I've been meaning to write for upwards of 9 years now. It takes place in the 30th century, where Crystal Tokyo has been destroyed by an unknown and unseen foe. Oooh, I bet you're all curious now, hmm? One thing that would really help me in writing it is to get ahold of some pictures of Crystal Tokyo. The only thing is, I've searched for hours and found only one picture. One. You'd think that of all things in the Sailor Moon series, people would have a ton of pics of Crystal Tokyo. But there are none. If you find/have any, email me please! The only thanks I can give is to post your name up here with a heartfelt thank you.
Today should also be the day that Resident Evil Code: Veronica X is finally released for the Game Cube. After sitting on the damn game for like... a year, Capcom is finally releasing it! I mean, it was originally scheduled for release two weeks ago, but it was pushed back to today. Why? Because they're dumb. So it better be released today. I'll hopefully have a review up later tonight or something. All I can say is that Claire Redfield is quite alluring for a collection of polygons, vertices, and textures.
I hope I have a job in December and January. It'll allow me to finish high school and get a good cash flow going. I just don't know if they plan to keep me beyond next week.
