mother is a high end criminal, that is currently in prison after her operation fell apart. father passed away over a decade ago under suspicious circumstances, and he absolutely deserved it. Her relationship with her mother was a good one until Mother’s secrets came out and their lives fell apart. Now things are strained and she hasn’t talked to her in a long while.
Callista’s circle of friends all seem to be successful. In fact everyone that spends a lot of time with Callista ends up moving on to have good fortune. Yet Callista herself struggles to claim that same luck for herself. She’s bright and clever, but it’s always taken her longer to study and learn. She’s got classic ADHD habits of struggling to keep herself organized and on task, but is able to jump in and get things done with a special kind of detail when it’s to the benefit of someone else.
She’s a little bit sarcastic with a wicked sense of humor, actually does enjoy socializing and being around people but finds it exhausting and severely needs her recharge time. She has a strong sense of self and a healthy amount of confidence. But due to a few recent events, she’s gun shy of making any real connections with others and is now trapped in a lonely box of wishing she had it, but being too scared to really let someone close.
