Autumn Manor was empty. Sasha had been living alone there for years now. Kendal had moved, and Harrison was no longer working for her and her family. The details were all sorta murky and unimportant. No one came to the manor unless they wanted the witch to do something for them. Not that people of Elswen had ever ventured up the hill very often in the town’s history.

Upon waking Sasha wrapped herself in a worn out looking house coat and walked down the stairs, careful to avoid the step that needed repair. Much of the manor needed repair. It would likely be condemned if it were in the middle of a neighborhood.

Passing a dusty mirror, the witch of Elswen paused and looked at her reflection. “What’s wrong with you girl? You don’t mope around!” This was all so stupid. What was she doing just hiding from the world up here in her family’s home? Using the sleeve of the house coat, Sasha dusted off the mirror and with her hands on her hips looked at herself. “Look at you, look at this place, there needs to be some major work done around here!”

With renewed spirit, Sasha made her way into the kitchen and looked at the radio. It hadn’t worked in years. Best to start with little things. Rubbing her hands together she bespoke the spirits of gadgets and the airwaves and after a few moments there was static, and then the familiar voice of Elswen’s favorite DJ!

There was a voice she missed. How could she have missed one morning let alone… well she couldn’t recall how long it had been. Sasha frowned to herself. It didn’t matter, she wasn’t going to dwell on the past.

Or so she thought as she started eating her breakfast and listened to the morning show. Slowly though she realized that she did want to revisit the past sorta. It would be good to get out of the house, and even if Aidan was now married, he’d always been a good friend.

That decided Sasha. Once she was done eating she headed back up stairs. Her wardrobe was horrid! What had she been wearing all these years? It took digging around in some old chests but Sasha finally got a cute skirt and sweater outfit. Looking at her hair, she made a decision that it was time to get rid of the grey! It took a few tries before she got a lighter red then her old color that looked good on her.

Feeling refreshed and like her old self, Sasha decided that the town did not need to know she was out just yet and would not take Lord Luck out. Instead she made a gateway, and found herself leaving her study, and entering the hallway of the radio station.

Hoping things hadn’t changed too much she headed down to where Aidan’s office use to be. It looked just about the same. Smiling she sat down in his chair and waited.

“And that’s it for today’s show. We’d like to thank out guests for paying us a visit. Don’t forget to tune in next week when we have fame Alien Psychologist, Doctor Haldruid Amberstein.” Bing! Aidan pulled off his headset and ran his fingers through his hair. What a morning. Sometimes their guests were a little weird, but.. they always were.

But what had him all unsettled was… everything else.

As he rose out of his chair, greeting the next guy to go on with a friendly grin, Aidan was still trying to figure out why his life just wasn’t quite fitting. It’s like he rolled out of bed and put on the wrong shoes.

In the employees lounge, he grabbed himself a cup of coffee and blinked wearily at his reflection in one of the mirrors. There were a few crinkles around his eyes, a little grey at his temples. That didn’t bother him. Getting old was a part of life. He had been woken up by two very rowdy kids and a big fluffy dog. That hadn’t bothered him too much either. Aidan loved his children, there was no doubt about that. Going downstairs to kiss his wife on the cheek, then it was starting to feel odd. Rebecca was as beautiful now as the day he met her – …when did he meet her again? Was it on the show? At the park…?

The more he thought about it, the more confused he was. Their wedding day, when they bought the houses. Their children. It all just… kinda frittered away in his brain unable to be visualized.

Now, he was shrugging a shoulder, chocking it up to old age. Rebecca had said this morning that he was eating too much sugar and it was bad for his health.

As Aidan walked in to his office, at first he didn’t notice the woman there. But as the familiarity registered, Aidan broke in to a wide smile. This was someone he remembered perfectly. Sasha Novellino. The woman he had sworn up and down that he was going to marry someday.

…weird how life turns out. He couldn’t remember when that all changed.

“Good Mornin’! Always makes my day to see a pretty face.”

Re: The Time Warp

Sasha had been sitting in Aidan’s chair with what those closest to her would refer to as her customer smile. It was polite but she held herself in reserve. Her whole body had in fact conveyed the fact that she was holding herself back when he first entered, but with just one smile Aidan melted away that control as she got up smiling back at him.

“After all these years you’re still a flatterer,” she walked over so she was right in front of him. “I enjoyed your show.” No, not all the control was gone if Sasha was to be fully impulsive she would have given him a hug right then and there, but she had to remind herself that he was married and well they hadn’t seen each other in years it would be awkward!

Except it didn’t feel like years. More then that though was she didn’t know why he was married to someone else. What had happened. “You’re looking well.” Sasha kept her hands clasped in front of her less she did something foolish.

Scratching his head, Aidan sat down in his chair with a lopsided grin. Why was it, that he could remember things like taking Sasha out to the docks for oyster stew, or getting locked in the basement on Halloween, but he couldn’t even recall his wife’s maiden name? He glanced at one of the pictures on the desk. It was him, Rebecca and the kids on a vacation he didn’t remember taking.

Aidan leaned back in his chair, taking a big gulp of his coffee. “Do I? Don’t quite feel myself today. Got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. How about you? What angel decided to bless me with a visit this morning?”

Sasha tilted her head with a smirk. “Funny you should say that, I feel like I just got out of a funk. Do you realize I barely have left the manor since,” she paused. “I suppose since your wedding.” The redhead frowned slightly. “You know, it’s funny, I know I was a bride’s maid, but …” She shook her head. “Never mind that.”

Still with a playful smirk on her lips she put her hands behind her back. “Unless of course the coffee here has improved over the years, how about you treat me to coffee?” Sasha should have been ashamed of herself asking a married man to buy her coffee, but it was Aidan. Surely he was worth all sorts of exceptions. “You can catch me up on all the amazing things you’ve been up to.”

Sasha was a bridesmaid at his wedding? He really was forgetting a lot.

Looking down at the cup of coffee he had, he grimaced. Nope, the coffee was just as bad as ever. Aidan was more than happy to rise from his seat and retrieve his jacket from a hanger.

“Coffee sounds great, actually. I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a decent cup of coffee.” Yes he can! …well, that “last time” must have been at least twenty years ago. He had talked Sasha in to joining him for lunch and they discussed why you never saw male faeries flying around. He could clearly recall trying to argue that brownies couldn’t be considered faeries, but he had no idea what he did last year for his birthday.

“All right, how about some donuts with that coffee?”

“Donuts sound great. Guess that means we’re going to Tiny’s Bakery,” Sasha said with a smile that once more turned as confusion rippled briefly across her face. “Tiny’s still open? I can’t remember the last time I went out.”

As she walked out of the office and down the hall she shrugged. “I guess I haven’t been out much of anywhere lately.” That got her thinking, she realized she hadn’t done much of anything since Aidan got married. In fact, other then that blaring fact, everything was somewhat mushy as to her motives and reasons for anything.

Going into the elevator, Sasha stood next to Aidan, her hand briefly brushing his.[/dash]

“I’m pretty sure Tiny’s is still open.” He was going to say he hadn’t been anywhere either, but surely he had to of been. Her hand brushed his and his fingers moved instinctive to take her hand – but he had to suddenly stop himself. What the hell was he doing? He was a married man, for god’s sake! Five minutes with an old flame and suddenly he was out of control?

Aidan forced himself to distance a step or two away as the elevator stopped at the bottom floor and they stepped out. Yet, he did gave that half grin as he always did, despite the thoughts running through his head. Off day indeed. He really needed some food and coffee in him!

For a moment Sasha got the feeling that Aidan was purposely trying to keep his distance from her, and for that brief moment she was a bit hurt. Aidan had always done the opposite if anything. With that smile of his though Sasha realized she was overanalyzing things and gave a slight smirk as they walked out the elevator, across the lobby and then outside.

The air was cold as they walked outside. This seemed to surprise Sasha almost as much as everything else. For some reason she had thought it would be a warm sunny day. Instead it looked like rain was threatening.

“I guess we don’t want to casually stroll if we don’t want to get wet.”[/dash]

Re: The Time Warp

(11:57:30 PM) Aidan: The first thing Aidan thought of was Sasha covered in rain water and the way her shirts would cling to her skin. This was unacceptable for a married man, so he tried to replace the thought with his wife and… it just wasn’t coming. He couldn’t even picture his own wife with ease? Aidan coughed, nodded quickly as he took Sasha’s hand for the two of them to briskly walk down the sidewalk.
(11/17/2009 12:02:02 AM) Sasha: Sasha didn’t really think twice as Aidan took her hand instead she just made sure to match his pace, which was really second nature. They got across the street and were walking down the block when the clouds finally burst open. “Never had a chance did we?” She was talking about getting wet, but then realized that was all she meant!
(12:07:56 AM) Aidan: “It always comes down faster than you realize.” he replied, taking a look outside. Aidan had never thought himself to be superstitious, but something about today just seemed like bad news. Shaking it off with a sigh, he cast a wide grin at Sasha. “So what are you in the mood for today?”
(12:11:02 AM) Sasha: Sasha answered Aidan’s smile with a smirk. “we can start at Tiny’s and see where the day takes—“. The thunder roared at them.
(12:18:07 AM) Aidan: Bad omens. “All this rain, I’d say hot chocolate is in order. I think they’re having a special on soup today…” He hadn’t seen Sasha in years, was this why? Bad thoughts and feelings he shouldn’t of been having. Clearing his throat, he was the first up to the counter, ordering for the both of them and knowing exactly what Sasha was interested in that day simply by the expression on her face.
(12:28:26 AM) Sasha: Perfect. Then again Aidan usually knew what to order for her on a day like this. “I’m almost glad the weather turned.” At least she thought it was a turn in the seasons.
(12:30:41 AM) Aidan: “Can’t say it looks all that friendly.” He waited patiently as their order was brought up, paid and took the tray over to one of the tables. He picked a place in the corner of the building, away the window where they would usually sit and look outside. Today, he didn’t think he wanted to be in full view of the world. Almost like he was sneaking around and afraid his wife would find out. But… they were just having some lunch?
(12:46:29 AM) Sasha: Lunch was perfectly harmless. Sitting Sasha sipped her cocoa. “Of the weather dried ip we she go to the park.”. Wait shouldn’t he do that with his kids. And wife. Bother.
(12:49:06 AM) Aidan: Aidan was also thinking of his wife and kids. Kids he didn’t even recall the name of. THAT in itself wasn’t sitting well with him. He was sure there wasn’t anything more important to him than his own kids! Aidan sat down his spoon, looking suddenly serious. “Has this morning been… odd for you?”
(12:53:22 AM) Sasha: “Odd?” Sasha tilted her head. “I…I really don’t know. I mean of feels like I woke up from sort of dream.”. She then looked around.
(1:04:55 AM) Aidan: “Or still dreaming.” Aidan sighed, finally giving a shrug and a halg grin. “Sorry. Guess I’m not feeling myself today. Woke up on the wrong side of the world this morning.”
(1:09:28 AM) Sasha: “Aidan I wonder if…” “Aidan there you are. I went to the station but they said you already left.” And there was Aidan’s lovely bride looking all sweet, except when she looked at just who Aidan was lunching with. “A surprise to see you out Sasha.” And she gave the red head witch a smile.
(1:11:11 AM) Aidan: “Rebecca.” Aidan stood, leaning to give his wife a kiss on the cheek, because that is what you did when your wife arrived! She was lovely, and attractive. Not unexpected but… Aidan coughed. “We were just catching up on old times. Would you like to join us?”

“Of course,” Rebecca said and if she was giving Sasha an odd look or three it was understandable in the fact that it seemed Sasha had not been out in years.

“I was just asking Aidan about his kids,” Sasha lied. As she spoke she put her parsley on Aidan’s plate. It was a habit she picked up a while back after noticing that he’d occasionally chew on a bit after dinner. Not that he needed more, but it seemed amusing to Sasha when she first did it. “How old are they now?”

“Eight and ten,” Rebecca replied after looking surprised at the question. It was a normal enough question Sasha though.

“So young still,” Sasha said more out of needing to say something.

“We waited to have children so that Aidan could concentrate on his career.”

“Oh,” suddenly all sorts of warning bells went off in Sasha’s head. His career? Aidan loved his job, was great at it, that was the reason he was asked to MC the benefit dinner last night after all, but he would never put his job ahead of his family!

Wait, last night? No, that couldn’t be right, she had driven him back to his place and, no, she must be losing it.[/dash]

Concentrate on his career. He was a morning show radio DJ, there was no way it’d stop him from having kids with Sa- With his wife. This was starting to give him a headache.

Settling in his seat with Rebecca sitting next to him, the entire scene was decidedly uncomfortable. It was like getting caught red handed doing something you shouldn’t – and worse, wishing you had a few more minutes wife free to finish what you were doing.

“I guess… waiting was the better idea for us.” Guessed. Because he could not remember any sort of conversation about children.

“Now uh… What have you been up to lately, Sasha?”

Had the world gone mad, or just her? Sasha looked at the happy couple and realized that she couldn’t even rely on that. Aidan looked stressed and Rebecca, well she didn’t know her but she looked like she was hiding some irritation. Or at least Sasha was pretty sure she didn’t know Rebecca, even if she was a maid of honor. Why was she a maid of honor? Sasha couldn’t even recall their wedding.

“What I’ve been doing?” Sasha said slowly stalling on the question. What had she been doing?

“Now Aidan you shouldn’t ask her uncomfortable questions like that. It’s amazing she’s even in town, and looking better then I expected too.” Rebecca said sweetly as she patted Aidan’s hand.

That was it, Sasha didn’t know what the hell was going on, but she knew one thing for certain. She did NOT like Rebecca, and it had everything and nothing to do with Aidan.

“You should know, I’m full of surprises,” then Sasha stood up.[/dash]

Re: The Time Warp

(12:48:42 AM) Diana: Aidan, though still uncomfortable, couldn’t help but give a half smile at Sasha being full of surprises. She had been since the day they had met. He finally cleared his throat, also rising from his chair. "You’re not leaving already, are you, Sasha? There’s so much we have to… catch up on." Catch up, figure out, remember… It was complicated.
(12:52:55 AM) Ocha: By this point Rebecca had already stood and was trying to not look unpleased with Aidan, but the sour expression was coming through.
"I know, but I just sorta burst in on things today. It will be better planned next time." Sasha then went over and hugged Rebecca. "It was good to see you…" Oh yes, it was good to meet the enemy. Then because since she hugged the wife it wouldn’t at all be unproper to now hug the husband, Sasha did so. "Take care," was the words that were heard by everyone else, but Aidan’s ears got the whisper "Be careful." Then Sasha stood back from him still smiling politely.
(12:55:12 AM) Diana: Be careful. When Sasha told him to be careful… Aidan nodded, casting her an easy smile. But it wasn’t his normal carefree one. It was a bit worried. "Until next time. It was good to see you." He finally turned to his wife, heaving a heavy sigh. Moreso at himself than her. He should be happy to see his own wife! "How was your day, Rebecca?"
(12:57:32 AM) Ocha: "Til next we meet," the red head witch said as she turned and left, between her fingers was now a piece of Aidan’s hair she picked off his shirt when she hugged him.
Rebecca watched Sasha leave before she turned to Aidan. "It was good. That is until I found you not at the station!"
(1:00:55 AM) Diana: "Ah, yeah…" he replied, scratching her head in embarrassment. "I guess I should have called?" He wasn’t used to having to call someone when he was going to be late. Sasha had always seemed to know when he was going to show up and when he wasn’t! Aidan cleared his throat again. "I uh… hrrm. I’m not feeling to well today, Rebecca, how about we head home?"
(1:03:27 AM) Ocha: "I think that would be an excellent idea." Even though outside it had been storming, by the time they headed out of the shop it had stopped raining, even if it was not clear. Their was also a biting chill to the air that seemed unseasonable, or was it? It was sorta hard to tell what time of year it was.
Meanwhile at a park, Sasha was watching people. Everyone seemed somehow not real and it bothered her. She was either loosing touch with reality or reality had lost touch… and that’s when it hit her… where was Cloud?
(1:11:06 AM) Diana: Aidan didn’t offer her his arm or his hand like he might have done with Sasha. It just seemed… wrong. Wrong with his WIFE, of all people. Instead it stuffed his hands in his pockets, walking along and eyeing the weather. Everything about Elswen looks exactly the same. Like it hadn’t changed for years. It was just… lacking all that charm and personality that he loved about it. Those little things most people took for granted. "Did you have a good day today?"
(1:14:50 AM) Ocha: "Yes, you already asked me that," she said. "You seem distraught. I know what it is, it’s seeing HER." They continued walking in the direction of home. The cute little house he had woken up in with the white picket pence in the cookie-cutter neighborhood. "I don’t think it’s a very good idea for you to just start having coffee with her Aidan. I mean, people will talk." Rebecca said it trying to sound very logical.
Cloud was somewhere, but for some reason it was as though she was trying to call to a sleeping mind, but not. It was confusing, but it was making Sasha feel better about her own perspective. She at least wasn’t going crazy. Now it was time to make sure Aidan was safe.
(1:18:44 AM) Diana: "Did I?" He hadn’t even realized he repeated the same question. It was disorienting. Aidan took a good look at "their" house. As nice as it was, it just didn’t feel right. Like he didn’t get a say in the matter. Sometimes he had opinions of his own. "No, no, it wasn’t her. I’ve been feeling a little off all day. Since I woke up. I work at the Morning Show, never did care about people thinking I’m weird." He cast her a weak smile.
(1:22:22 AM) Ocha: Rebecca frowned. "Aidan, I’m serious. Think about your family!"
Sasha was looking at the bird in her hands with surprise. Sure she was a powerful witch with a long line of witches, wizards, shamans and assorted oddfellows, but she should have needed to do more then think about what sort of creature she wanted to create to track Aidan for her, but there it was, a happy blue bird. "Well, I shouldn’t look a giftbird in the mouth." And she sent the bird off into the sky.
(1:26:31 AM) Diana: "Now, woman, I always think about my family." THAT made him a bit mad. There was nothing more important to him than the people he loved. His wife should know that after this many years. "People talk. That’s not something we should ever have to worry about."
(1:31:24 AM) Ocha: Rebecca looked frustrated to say the least as the walked through the living room. "I’m… I’m just saying I’d feel better about this if … um… if it wasn’t so… Look, I just feel uncomfortable with the idea of you seeing her by yourself." In their bedroom, on the outside ledge was a happy blue bird singing despite the rain that had started once more.
(1:33:30 AM) Diana: Aidan was looking at the bird while he scratched the back of his head. He couldn’t believe they haven’t had this conversation before. If they had… he couldn’t believe he hadn’t put his foot down! "Rebecca, you are my wife. She isn’t. But she IS my friend. I won’t push Sasha out of my life."
(1:39:30 AM) Ocha: "Who you haven’t seen in years," she reminded him in a very cold way. "Maybe you should take a nap while I fix dinner." Rebecca snapped her fingers by her side and Aidan indeed felt sleepy.
(1:42:46 AM) Diana: Pinching the bridge of his nose, he shook his head a bit. He didn’t want to take a nap, they had things to discuss. "That’s not a good idea. We need to talk about this. There’s no reason to be jealous, I would never cheat on the woman I married!"
(1:48:51 AM) Ocha: "No, of course you wouldn’t Aidan. You’re a loyal man." Rebecca was heading to the door though and Aidan had found himself sitting on the bed. "Now I’m going to fix dinner." Outside the bird had stopped singing and was looking in the window. Then it tapped the window with it’s beak.
(2:04:23 AM) Diana: Sitting on the bed, Aidan cast the bird another look before he tilted back in an exasperated flop. He was tired, but this woman was frustrating him to all hell! It took a minute before he could force him to roll and reach an arm out to the window and open it up for the bird.
(2:06:50 AM) Ocha: The bird hopped over to Aidan, moving it’s head up and around to look at him before hopping close enough to touch the DJ. It could have been the lights, but not likely in Elswen, but the bird seemed to fade for a moment at the same time Aidan seemed to feel less tired. It chirped inquiringly at him.
(2:08:33 AM) Diana: Leaning up on his elbows he eyed the bird a second time. "This house isn’t right. I’m starting to think this isn’t where I’m supposed to be." He answered, whether the bird asked him a question or not. "I just… Need to figure out what’s going on here."
(2:12:04 AM) Ocha: At this the bird fluttered it’s wings flying half way to the door then back to Aidan a few times.
Meanwhile at the park, Sasha had her eyes half closed under a tree, not in the least concerned with the rain or being wet. She was trying to have her mind at two places at once, one being the past, and wasn’t even worried about her surroundings.

Re: The Time Warp

At first Sasha was a bit annoyed with how her memory wandered. She wanted to try to remember most recently, but instead of what happened yesterday, or last week she once again was reminded of the benefit dinner.

With a deep breath Sasha relaxed. If her subconscious was brining this up instead perhaps there was a clue to the current detachment of today’s events.

Aidan had been asked to MC the twentieth anniversary of the People Helping Folks Coalition. It was a charity organization that helped disenfranchised peoples. What was known, but never discussed is that it didn’t discriminate against non-human people in it’s work. That night though people would be coming out in their fineries having made a donation to come to the dinner.

There were going to be a lot of people making speeches and Aidan’s job was to make sure people didn’t end up falling asleep of course. Sasha had no doubts in his talent, but the DJ wanted a friendly face in the crowd. Sasha was not inclined to refuse and despite what Kendal wanted to say, it was not a date. After all you couldn’t consider something like this a date if someone was working!

That night Sasha was wearing a strapless blue-green gown that she was not uncomfortable with. At least not until she overheard Kendal making a comment to Aidan while she was grabbing her purse from the couch. Why did her sister have to inform him that she needed help with the back buttons to take it off! No, Sasha knew exactly why and she was going to have to strangle Kendal later for that.

Aidan though looked very good in his tux. Not that Sasha was unaware that he cleaned up nicely. They’d taken his truck into town and it surprised Sasha to learn that Aidan had been preparing for the event most of the day with things like dress rehearsal.

The event itself wasn’t dull, but in large part that was due to Aidan’s efforts and she made sure to smile at him every time he looked her way from the stage. By the end of the evening everyone was in agreement that it was a success.

With most the dinner guests gone, Aidan finally got to sit down with Sasha, and a few other people as they discussed the benefit and relaxed with a bit of wine. Sasha even took off her shoes under the table. At one point it was only Aidan and herself at the table and the DJ was wearing his long day. “You look exhausted. I can’t believe the station is going to expect you in the morning,” she had said while she had reached over and started rubbing the back of his head. Sure it was likely to make him want to sleep more, but she was already planning on offering to drive him back to his place.

Re: The Time Warp

(3:08:44 AM) Diana: Aidan’s plan to figure things out didn’t quite go as he had planned. One moment he was muttering to a bluebird and the next he was waking up in bed again. He must not have been asleep for too long, for it was afternoon still. He could smell something pleasant from the kitchen. …and was trying to remember what he had been thinking about before he laid down!
(3:11:56 AM) Ocha: Downstairs Rebecca had two plates set for lunch and did not look surprised when she saw him come in still a bit bed wraggled. The only odd thing seemed to be the fact that the curtains were tightly shut.
(3:14:50 AM) Diana: Rubbing his hands over his face, he dropped in to a chair. He had actually been expecting to see Sasha, but he got the feeling bringing that up was going to be more trouble than it was worth. …that’s right. Didn’t they have a fight about Sasha? He hadn’t seen Sasha in years, why was that… No, he just saw her this morning. Aidan picked up one of the glasses filled with juice and took a thoughtful sip. "Why’s the curtains shut up so tight?"
(3:17:27 AM) Ocha: "Oh, um… They’re a bit dirty. You weren’t suppose to notice till I cleaned them." she tried to smile casually. "Eat up before it gets cold."
(3:19:49 AM) Diana: When had he ever cared about dirty windows! With a slight frown he ate, but he was watching his WIFE like a hawk. Aidan never thought of himself like any grand detective or judge of character. But she was acting funny. After swallowing another bite and lifting up his glass, he tried a comment. "I was thinking I might visit some old friends today…"
(3:21:49 AM) Ocha: "Who would you want to visit?" Rebecca looked surprised and suspicious. She had even set down her spoon to look at him
(3:25:14 AM) Diana: "Some old friends. Maybe coworkers, college mates…. You know, I don’t think I’ve spoken to Kendal Davidson in ages." Kendal was Sasha’s sister, but did his wife know? It was irritating to think he couldn’t remember whether or not his wife knew his girlfr- Sasha’s sister! "I feel the need to wander around town. A little restless."
(3:28:56 AM) Ocha: "Davidson?" Rebecca asked as she tried to recall the name but couldn’t quite do it. "but… It’s already getting on in the afternoon and the kids will be home soon and I’m sure they’ll want you to help with their homework and…" the rain outside got harder and thunder rolled again.
(3:33:47 AM) Diana: "You can help them, can’t you? I think today I’d like to step out for myself." Aidan finished up lunch quick and rose from his chair. Rain or not, he wasn’t feeling too comfortable in this house. "I’ll just have a nice long chat with Kendal about her family, and be back later, all right?"
(3:37:23 AM) Ocha: There was a slight defeated look on Rebecca’s face. "Dont miss dinner." When he did get to the door she did say one more thing. "I do hope you recall where she lives dear."
(3:39:44 AM) Diana: Aidan cast her a half smile and gave her a salute. "She’d be in one of three places, I am sure of that." Before he grabbed his jacket off the coat wrack and stepped outside. And it just so happens, one of those three places is where Sasha would be as well!
(3:43:11 AM) Ocha: And really it was a good thing he wasn’t looking for any particular location because all the houses and buildings had that half remembered look, but when he saw a park there was only one soul there braving the storm. Eyes closed while sitting under a tree and not looking like she did earlier today but like she did the last time he saw her.
(3:46:34 AM) Diana: It was a stunning picture. Sasha sitting under a tree with her hair and clothes damp. Almost like she was sleeping, but he was aware she was awake. It never ceased to amaze him how much he liked the way her hair looked when it was wet from rain. He had to shake his head to clear it as he approached, stopping nearby with his hands in his pockets. "We’re having one of those days, I think."
(3:49:02 AM) Ocha: Looking up Sasha pushed some wet hair away from her face as she absently wiggled her toes. "This whole place is wrong. Nothing works like it’s suppose to."
(3:50:53 AM) Diana: "I don’t think it’s real." He turned his head to glance around for a second look. "It’s like when you’re walking in a dream and everything looks familiar, but it doesn’t really look exactly right."
(3:53:29 AM) Ocha: Sasha looked at him in surprise for a moment, then her eyes narrowed in thought. "Aidan, how exactly do you feel towords Rebecca? Do you love her?"
(3:56:51 AM) Diana: Aidan cast a sheepish grin. "If I give the honest answer, I’m afraid I might get shot down by lightning." He glanced up at the sky with a frown. "No. I don’t even know the woman. She says she’s my wife, but I would KNOW my wife. Nothing in the world would make me forget the woman I love."
(4:02:06 AM) Ocha: One thing was for sure Aidan was sure who was in charge of this dream, the same as Sasha suspected, though she was having the hardest of times looking like she didn’t catch everything he said, because she had and started feeling a tad warm despite the rain. Standing she did not glance away from him though. "I think this particular nightmare should end. Don’t you?"
(4:07:26 AM) Diana: His sheepish grin shifted to his usual genuine one. "It’s about time. I was going to ask if you wanted to have some cake at my place."
(4:09:33 AM) Ocha: "Is it chocolate?" she asked as she grabbed his wrist and led him around the tree till they were looking at the gate of Rebecca’s dream house.
(4:17:15 AM) Diana: "Would it be anything else?" Aidan’s mood had improved immensely, even as the skies seemed to be getting worse! He had no problem leading them through the front gate of the little house and in to the front door. "Rebecca. We need to talk."
(4:21:03 AM) Ocha: Suprise upon suprise. Rebecca looked surprised first to see Aidan, perhaps because he no longer looked middle aged and then surprised again to see Sasha with Aidan. Sasha who had not let go of Aidan. "You… You both should sleep." Sasha let out a yawn, but of boredom.
(4:26:56 AM) Diana: "Rebecca, I’m through sleeping. I think it’s about time we home. We -all- went home. Don’t you?" This time he wasn’t feeling sleepy. In fact, things were slowly becoming more and more clear! Sasha asked him if he needed a ride home, and he was happy to accept. He just needed to do one last thing before they left. That’s when he ran in to this woman…
(4:32:14 AM) Ocha: "Why? It would have been perfect here. It was suppose to be perfect. How did you get in!" Rebecca went from pleading to Aidan to accusing Sasha, but by this point the red head was smirking. "Oh, I didn’t follow if that’s what you think happened?"
(4:35:38 AM) Diana: Aidan shook his head sadly. "Perfect for you, Rebecca. Not for me. I don’t even know you!" He never liked moments like this! Telling a girl he wasn’t interested. But then, they didn’t usually come with such a weird situation either! "I’m sure you’ll have your perfect dream, but it is not going to be with me."
(4:39:29 AM) Ocha: Aidan was too nice which Sasha figured was always going to be a problem but in the other hand she wouldn’t want it any other way. "I don’t want to be dragged into another one of these so hand over the fetish." Rebecca was already heartbroken and was holding her left hand protectively against her body. "Come on, it’s not even a real ring!"
(4:43:51 AM) Diana: It was Aidan who held out his hand to Rebecca, not looking angry or accusing, just a little weary. "It’s all right. If you hold on to it, you’re going to miss Mr. Right. Mr. Right won’t ask out an already married woman." He cast her one of his wide kidding smiles.
(4:48:45 AM) Ocha: With her head down, Rebecca took off the ring and put it in Aidan’s hand. Then with a sob she ran out of the storage room. "I shouldn’t be surprised should I?"
(4:52:44 AM) Diana: Aidan eyed the ring before rubbing the back of his head in thought. "It could have been worse. Some big guy with muscles could of had you as his wife and I’d would’ve needed to beat him down. Don’t think I would make it out alive." He cracked her a grin.
(4:55:40 AM) Ocha: "You think I’d just stand back and watch?" Sasha snatched the ring out of his hand and examined it. "Tacky." though if it was the magic or the actual ring wasn’t specified.
(5:06:10 AM) Diana: "Stand back and watch? Never. Doubt there would be an Aidan Mac Morning Radio host if you did." Grinning again, he leaned forward to kiss her on the cheek. "How about that ride home and chocolate cake?"
(5:13:29 AM) Ocha: "I need my morning radio." Aidan got a surprised, but happy look from the witch. Sasha made a fist around the ring then sat it on a shelf, now just a tacky ring. "Alright, though I might just stay up and watch the sun rise. Can’t say I’m very sleep."
