Juniper Bree Kelley, 28y, 5’1″, dark brown hair, dark blue eyes. 100% Generic Average Human Female, as written in her company file. There is a single surgery scar under her ribs and a few scattered burn scars from a training accident during her Academy years. Juniper calls herself a “Planetside 4 but a Space 6” in terms of attractiveness.
Graduated from The Academy with Honors in the top percentage of her class. Has her PHD in Astrobiology/Exobiology with Masters in Archaeology and Anthropology. She is working on a degree in Philology. Exceptionally good at academics and her new career as a Rogue Seeker for the Asteron Archive, which is a fancy title for someone who hunts down derelict forms of ancient technology that’ve been starwrecked, abandoned, and just left adrift in space. Once she verifies a find is something worth studying, she helps set up the new archaeology sites.
With too much knowledge in her head, Juniper has a very bad habit of falling into the “absent minded scientist” stereotype and tries a little too hard to prove she is COOL and a BADASS. When in reality, she really just loves studying neat things she finds and exploring history. (She is neither cool, nor a badass.)
Her temperament is generally bright and cheery, she enjoys people and good company. Typically can navigate her way through most average social situations, only she is a bit of a firecracker temper. Doesn’t care for rudeness or injustices and she’ll not be afraid to call someone out even if it’s better to keep her mouth shut.
Do not let Juniper get drunk unless you want to babysit a gremlin for six hours.
Juniper is the only child to a father who is a high ranking General and a mother (now deceased) who was a talented scientist in her own right. Outside of her mother’s death (a tragedy on assignment), and Juniper’s own involvement in an accident during her studies at the Academy, she has otherwise lived a struggle-free life of privilege.
The small ship she currently flies is company owned, filled with lots of precious and very expensive equipment. It’s quite small and sized for one to three people teams. Juniper is not keen on solo trips, but her usual partner recently transferred to a new quadrant and she’s own her own until a new one is selected.
