HISTORIC BACKGROUND
General History: Mercedes is a privileged rich girl from an old fashioned upper class family. The kind where on the outside everyone looks perfect. Dad is a protective father and accomplished businessman – who spends most of his time away from home having affairs. Mom runs the Blueblood’s Society – and spends her evenings drinking wine and shopping. Mercedes spent most of her time being raised by a British Housekeeper who feels she is way too good for this family and wants to work for people more notable.
Mercedes was always an average student. She is not notable in personality or popularity. Other girls are prettier, smarter, more ambitious.
A few weeks ago at a big unchaperoned party, Mercedes broke up with her boyfriend. Or more accurately, he broke up with her. He didn’t feel like their relationship was going anywhere: aka, he wanted to DO IT and he already had his eye on a new girl. His buddy stepped in to be a shoulder to cry on, having just recently broken up with someone too. They got super drunk and then super handsy.
This past weekend Mercedes has discovered she’s preggo and she has NO IDEA what to do. As soon as her family finds out, she’s going to get disowned.
