Alaina James

Saloon Owner

Alaina is a strong minded, stubborn individual. She doesn’t consider herself bitter, but sometimes she gets fed up with her lack of luck. Alaina takes great pride in her business and might get a little competitive. Her attitude might border on self righteous when it comes to less legal or moral activities, and she keeps a shotgun behind the bar in case anyone steps out of bounds. She’ll step in the middle of any fight that happens in her saloon, but minds her own damn business when she’s out and about.

Alaina was born and raised in the country. She married her childhood sweetheart young and both used their meager family inheritance to purchase a nice plot of land so they could farm and raise horses. While they struggled to get started, her husband worked in the local mines. Within a year, there was a mysterious and unfortunate mine collapse and none of the worker’s bodies were found in the rubble.

For awhile Alaina tried to run the farm on her own with a few helping hands, but another family in town used shady methods to force her into selling her land.
