Sometimes you just want to make a character for a little “guilty pleasure” play. Something totally unchallenging, obviously cliche, but oh so much fun to play with.
GENERAL CHARACTER STATISTICS

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
General Appearance: Lia has changed her physical appearance on so many occasions for so many movies, it’s hard to remember what her natural hair color is. For now, she’s sporting long raven black hair cut in to stylish layers. Her eyes are a bright light blue. Her skin is fair and flawless. Lia boasts that her body is free from plastic surgery, and that is the truth – so far. She is wafer-thin (those anorexia rumors are so unfair! She just doesn’t have TIME to eat!), but has some toned muscle from endless days of working with a personal trainer. Of course, her fashion sense is impeccable. Her clothes are always in season and in fashion. She can be likened to a chameleon – it’s easy to mold herself to look like a completely different person. This is why she’s an excellent actress.
Strengths: Being in so many different movies, Lia knows a few basics in sword play and martial arts.
Weaknesses: Movie stunts are done in controlled environments, if she were to apply her “fighting knowledge” in a real scenario it would be fairly useless. Lia also has a terrible habit of not eating enough, this is a movie-star habit. Always too busy to eat!
MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS
Current Goal/Purpose: Lia wants to win every acting award imaginable and continue having a prosperous and lifetime career.
Talents: Acting (Obviously), Modeling, Singing (A little known talent, she’s actually very shy about it.)
Inabilities: Cooking her own meals, Driving (she doesn’t even have a license!)
Fears: Bugs, Rodents, Snakes, Stalkers, Creepy Strangers, Clingy Fans, and Ironically, getting lost in a big crowd.
General Personality: Lia London is a very personable person. Being a star, she needs to be! She is great under fire of interviews, can talk to anyone about anything. She is very open and genuine. Lia also seems to have a “in charge” complex. She tends to take command of where ever she is. It’s lucky that she is usual fair about it, but it can easily get on anyone’s nerves when it becomes a consistent occurrence.
Inner Personality: Is Lia the open book that she displays to the world? Barely. In private, she is bored, lonely, and perhaps a bit cranky. She loves her movie star life and her fame, but she also misses having privacy and acting “normal”. Sometimes keeping this happy pleasant face to the world seems more trouble than it’s worth. She REALLY hates anyone stepping on her personal space. Because of this, when she is not in public, she comes off as a huge bitch.
Secret: Lia got pregnant as a teen by a much older married man. The relationship was a little strange. She really didn’t like being involved in it, (the man was a creep) but she stayed because she desperately craved the attention. When he found out she was pregnant, he demanded that she have an abortion. She refused and their fight ended in physical violence. In the end she had a miscarriage. The devastation of losing her unborn child gave Lia the determination to finally break out of the situation. No one ever knew what happened and when asked about her bruises she said she got in to a fight with people from school.
HISTORIC BACKGROUND
General History:
Lia London was born to an average dysfunctional family. She has four brothers and sisters, and she is the middle child. Middle children rarely ever get the attention they really deserve. She spent most of the time either living in the shadow of the rest of her siblings or demanding attention. By her high school years she had given up trying to get noticed by her family and ended up being involved with a few not-so-nice people. She was an excellent actress even then – when she’d come home late or looking a mess (drunk, high, beat up, etc) she’d make up some elaborate story and it was accepted.
When she had her secret affair with a married man, and it’s inevitable bad ending – Lia finally hit rock bottom. It was a clarifying moment where she realized that she wasn’t helping herself by getting in to bad situations. If she wanted more out of life she was going to have to work at it. This inspired her to take better care of herself. She ended up finishing high school and getting a job to help support acting classes. All those lies she told as a kid was proof enough to her that she had the talent to be a professional actress.
Lia just turned 21 when she got her first starring role in a box office hit. Since then, she’s been living the good life as a popular movie star.
Present Life: Lia just finished another movie and is now on her vacation time between films. Lately, she’s been getting very creepy mail and phone calls from some obsessed fan or stalker-type person. They seem to know some very private details about her life and it’s got her freaked out! She’s hired a detective as her personal body guard.
