Frankie/Francine Harland – not nancy
- grandpa would teach her how to use his guns when they stayed at his cabin in the summers, so she is profficient and well educated on guns
- not one to get into a fight, but if you’re wrong, you’re wrong and if you push her she WILL push back
- very into history, anthropology, archaeology. wants to travel the world making neat discoveries
- investigating, researching, learning things is all very appealing to her.
- 100% into indiana jones and that whole vibe
- has a feminine sense of style but it’s at war with her want to break out of the box she’s in. she’s getting tired of being perfect, demure, good little franny
- not in the popular friend groups, but not in the outcast groups either. blends into the middle and fades into the background cause that’s what ‘normal’ is supposed to be
- ending up making friends with not-steve because of a project and it turned into a sincere relationship? not her first boyfriend, but it was the first time of having deep feelings
- they broke up at the end of last year because she signed up for a summer job out of town at the college she wants to go to and it created this domino effect of unresolved issues blowing up. how does getting a cool job mean she doesnt care about him?! wtf!
- has a hard time recognizing her own feelings so she tends to have delayed responses. often will come off as being cold or thinking she’s too cool for the convo.
- demi-ace, doesnt have intense sexual desire feelings, sees it more like an expression of love feelings and bonding. SO HE SHOULD KNOW THAT MEANS SHE LOVES HIM, RIGHT?
- dad is older than her mom by about 10 years. They were already married but she is an “unexpected” child that happened sooner than they’d wanted/planned. Her siblings are all much younger and planned siblings, so she had to grow up faster because she “is a big sister now and has responsibilities now”
Sam/Samantha Mallory – not max
- into skate boarding, roller skating, ice skating and hockey. has more fun watching sporty things than actually playing them, though
- considered a “tomboy” because she’s into traditional boy things like cars, video games, sports but she’s into plenty of girly things. she’s bucking up against being FORCED to like girly things just because she’s a girl.
- likes playing with makeup, and will wear skirts/dresses if the style is actually her vibe
- loves movies, into a wide array of genres as it’s all about the storytelling for her
- players around with photography storytelling through visual mediums. probably has also tried making lil videos in AV Club
- rock and roll music girlie, hair bands, pop, harder rock, again it’s the storytelling of the music
- thinks D&D is lame and nerdy and she hates math, but would actually love it for obvious reasons
- 100% straight and a lil thirsty
- mom has always had bad taste in men, so her bio dad is an asshole too, he just left first
- used to look up to and hero worship her step-brother until he started acting like a total douche
- sometimes doesnt know why she hasn’t just runaway from home. has a lot of complex passive suicidal feelings sometimes

- beloved single child, to a super controlling mom trying to live her life through her
- has done beauty pageants since a baby, wins them 9 times out of ten
- steller grades in school, one of the top students
- in cheer, but really wanted to be in choir or band. she’s musical
- has taken ballet and ballroom since she was little. rotates between pageants, dance, and cheer competitions
- wants to go to college and kinda loves the idea of being a teacher but her mom is weirdly resistant. she’s “too pretty” for college, yet most of the pageant girls do pageants so they CAN go to college.
- has been with her jock boyfriend since freshman year, mom approved to the point of being really gross about it because he’s from a wealthy influential family. her mom is basically grooming her to marry someone rich and climb even higher than she did
- she’s never really enjoy makeouts and sex because she is very very gay. she knows she’s into girls but is trying to supress and bury it
- always been drawn to things like crystal and light witchy vibes, but too scared to really dive in because scary conservative christian family who are strangely VERY anti magic and calls everything demonic.
