Unlucky 001: The Guardian Angel

[Favisor is at work, and that means being a hero no one will ever see.] -08:14 Dec 23
[Lucky is just like her namesake. But no one seems to agree. ] -08:14 Dec 23
Lucky: And Lucky was having another one of those days. A morning where all the fuses in her apartment blitzed out, and then the store was out of them, and then she was late for work and got fired for the second time in a week! -But- it’s totally lucky, because it was a nice drizzlie afternoon and she was going to pick up her birthday cake. The place was somewhere on this street! -08:18 Dec 23
Favisor: And there is was, a box of fuses lying on a fense post with a note. "For anyone ‘Lucky’ enough to find." as the guardian angel watched from across the street, a cup of take away coffee in between his gloved hands as the season snow powered his shoulders in a light dusting of white on top of his brown coat. He ws always here when she was, some people had all the luck, other had a little help with thiers. He was her help. -08:23 Dec 23
Lucky: She’d be skipping through the snow if there weren’t puddles of slush and ice everywhere. Lucky walked passed the fence like she did every other day. …then backed up a few paces. She plucked up the box and peered inside, then grinned. Perfect. Maybe any other person in the world wouldn’t even bother looking in random boxes on fences, but Lucky found out forever ago that you get pretty lucky when you snooped. The box dissapeared in to her coat pocket, and then she was dashing down to the corner to cross the street before the traffic light changed. -08:31 Dec 23
Favisor: He watched and then froze. The light had changed and she was still in the street. He dropped his cup and dashed forwards, jumping over a slush puddle as a car started to skid. Horn blazing. He pointd at it and the breaks locked slowing it but it would be too late! Arms outstreched he smalemd into her and kept running, ot that was the plan, instread he slipped and took her down with him slipping across the road and hitting the curb with a thud. -08:42 Dec 23
Lucky: Lucky almost made it, she wasn’t more than a few steps away. But she heard the screech of breaks and tires on ice and the horn. And then she was sure she was hit! All the breath was knocked out of her, but outside of that she didn’t feel hurt. Lucky blinked her eyes open slowly, finding herself staring at a somewhat familiar face. "…hey… Hey! Are you okay..?" -08:51 Dec 23
Favisor: He epened his eyes and rubbed the back of his head where it ahd hit the curb. "Yeah.. wait…" she was looking right at him! Maybe it was the hit to his head that caused his viel to drop, either way he was staring back at her with a deer in headlights expression. "Are you?" -08:59 Dec 23
Lucky: She looked up, where a baffled person was climbing out of their car yelling at another person they can in to. She had nearly been ran over! "You saved my life!" Lucky grabbed his face and kissed him! -09:02 Dec 23
Favisor: "…!" that was unexpected and he melted an arm around her before he knew what was happening. Then he was kissing her back for a moment before he pulled away. "We should… get out of the street." he said ayan putting his hadn on the bump on the back of his head. -09:07 Dec 23
Lucky: "Right, the street! Damn!" It would be pretty stupid to get ran over after he saved her life. Lucky almost giggled at the thought as she scrambled to her feet, nearly slipped in the ice, and grabbed his arms to help him up to. "Are you sure you’re okay, though? You look a little confused. Should I walk you over to a clinic for your head?" Lucky was already reaching to prod at him and see if maybe he cut his head open in the fall. -09:10 Dec 23
Favisor: He got up and looked at her. She was trying to look after him and that wasn’t how this was meant to work. "I’m fine." he sai, and he was sure he was, it would tke much more than a simple bump to the head to put him down. "Are you hurt? I mean you were just almost hit by a car. Maybe I could walk you to where you’re going?" -09:20 Dec 23
Lucky: "No, I’m okay. Wait-" she paused for a moment to check. Twisting and looking down. Aside from being really wet now, she didn’t seem to have any bumps or bruises. She was Lucky after all. "Actually, I was just on my way to pick up a cake. So I really don’t need an escort, but you know, you almost got hit by that car too and I think you landed a little rougher than me." He still seemed a little confused. Or surprised. Lucky wound up smiling. "How about you come with me to pick up the cake and have some with me? You deserve some cake!" -09:24 Dec 23
Favisor: "it was nothing…" he said looking down at his coat. "I’ve had worse… not from almost being hit by cars though just… unlucky sometimes." the bump was already shrinking. "But Cake sounds nice if you’re offering." he should walk her home, make sure she’s alright, then she will never see him again! -09:32 Dec 23
Lucky: "Unlucky, huh? Well, today is your lucky day! Because, I-" she pointed at herself before she shook his arm to make sure he stayed well balanced as she guided him down the street, "am Lucky. I mean, my name is Lucky. I’m only slightly kinda lucky. Or maybe really lucky! Today is my birthday and I didn’t die!" -09:40 Dec 23
Favisor: "Not dying is good." he said looking at her. "I’m Fa… Uhhh." he stopped wondering if he should give his real name. It was usually a very bad idea to since names had power… "You can call me Angel.. It’s a nicname of sorts. One I’ve been forsed to like with and well, wait… no, it’s not after the TV show if that’s what you’re thinking, even if saving people from cars is something he does. Just… yeah…" he stopped talking before the hole was dug any deeper. -09:45 Dec 23
Lucky: "Angel?" Okay, maybe she -was- immediately thinking about vampire Angel. It was one of her favorite shows. Lucky had to immediately had that amused smirking. Thankfully, she was paying attention to where she was walking. "I guess you -are- kind of my guardian angel today. That’s pretty cool! So do you save girl’s lives often, or do you have another job? I think I have seen you passing by on this street before…" -09:47 Dec 23
Favisor: He froze. "no.. not a guardian angel! N… I don’t make it a habit of throwing myself in front of cars, no." he swallowed. "I don’t really have another job no though. But I don’t need one, I just like to be out in the open and live on the street?" -09:52 Dec 23
Lucky: "You’re homeless?" Lucky stopped too to turn and stand in front of him. Jobless, that was no big deal. Half the time she was jobless. But no home in the middle of winter when it was -snowing-? Who could sleep in that? "That’s just…Nobody -likes- living on the street in the snow! Would you like to come home with me? I mean, a couple of days won’t hurt and it’s the least I could do for my non-guardian angel." -09:55 Dec 23
Favisor: "Nooooo…. taht came out wrong. I meant my house is on the street." he said quickly. "I’m not homeless I…" crap now she might want to see his non-existant appartment. "You’re too kind to someone you’ve just met." -09:58 Dec 23
Lucky: Lucky grinned. "It’s not like people save the life of someone they’re about to stab, so I can afford to be a little generous? Besides, you don’t have to be ashamed of not having a place. It happens. A few days and maybe I can help you find a place and a job? You can consider it my birthday present if you’re bashful!" Lucky rocked on her feet and clasped her hands behind her back. She had every intention of guilting him in to agreeing if she had to. No one should sleep outside in snow. -10:04 Dec 23
Favisor: He looked at her and shook his head. "I… thanks. One night will be plenty." that was too much. He’d have to make an excuse about going to stay with family then make sure she never saw him again. How could he be her guardian angel if she could see him? -10:16 Dec 23
Lucky: "Perfect! I gotta confess though, it’s mostly just cause I don’t want to spend my birthday alone." Lucky gave him a devious smirk, then was taking his arm again. The cake place wasn’t too much farther down the street. -10:22 Dec 23
Favisor: That was kinda sad. "Well then I’d be happy to spend your birthday with you." he said hugging her, muddy coat and all. "I’ll pay for the cake, as a present." he said before accepting her arm and pointing himself in the direction of the cake shop. -10:26 Dec 23
Lucky: "You don’t have to do that, you saved the day, remember?" she grinned, though, and pointed at the shop when they reached the door. Opened it with a jingle and stepped inside. It was nice and warm and they were tracking slush. "We’ll have a second chance at life party! For me and for you!" -10:30 Dec 23
Favisor: "You wouldn’t have died…" he said "So a not going to hospital party id more acurate." he looked at the cakes and his stomach did flipflops. "Why are you spending your birthday alone?" -10:36 Dec 23
Lucky: "Hello! I am picking up for Lucky Bennett." she said at the counter, before she leaned against it and grinned at him. "Why else? I don’t have any family alive, and no friends here in town yet. You’d be the first!" -10:42 Dec 23

“We have one for a Lucy Bennett, that you?” the clerk said looking at the scraps of paper before Favisor looked at him. “It’s her… and wow, no friends here? I’ve always seen you walking alove but, don’t you have friends at work?” -Favisor

Lucky: "Lucy?" she wrinkled up her nose at the name, but nodded. "Um… I’m kind of a disaster with jobs. So I don’t keep them very long, although this last one I’ve been fired twice from, so I might be able to get it back once the boss calms down again." Lucky dug around in her pockets looking for the cake receipt. She had it somewhere! -10:47 Dec 23
Favisor: He was looking in his reflection in the glass case the cakes were in. Did he really look like a homeless man? And how did he keep talking to her without revealing how much he knew about her. "You have something stuck to your arm… a peice of paper." A little magical nudge here and there though… -10:52 Dec 23
Lucky: "Oh, there it is!" Probably got out of her pocket when they tumbled in the street. She plucked it off, smoothed it out and handed it over to the clerk. "See! That’s the one." She gave her new friend a curious glance. "Do you have any family or friends?" -10:54 Dec 23
Favisor: "They’re a long way away." he said, "And have very busy lives, full time assignments, things like that. Life, it makes monkeys of us all." he gave a nervous laugh. "I actually work.. ed for the same place they do so I know how taxing it can be and how much you have to think on your feet." -10:59 Dec 23
Lucky: "What kind of work was it? Sounds kind of intense to be so taxing!" She waited patiently, rocking back and forth on her feet until the clerk came back with a very small chocolate cake. Lucky was then digging around in her pockets looking for the cash she had stashed in one of them. -11:08 Dec 23
Favisor: "Er… public safety." he said. "Something of a passion for most of them and it’s hard not to get caught up in it. Only natural that we’d be friends with it as a shared passion. What is better than keeping people safe umm.. here." he pulled out his small bundle of cash and offered her 50 dollars. "You can pay be back later." -11:14 Dec 23
Lucky: She blinked at the bill in surprise. "You know, this is a lot of money for a homeless guy to have! You could have a place for not much more than this." she took it, though and gave it to the clerk. Waited for her change and receipt, the extra money she handed back to him. "There you go!" -11:20 Dec 23
Favisor: "I nev…" he sighed. "I like my life, it’s simple, I can do what I want and that is enough. And I’m not destitute." he stuffed the change into his pocket and looked at her. "All a person needs is to be happy, and all of us have a different idea of what that is. If it frustrates you, change it, if it excites you, persue it. Things like that right? I’m happy." -11:23 Dec 23
Lucky: With a thank you to the clerk, she took her cake, and gave her new friend a suspicious look as she led the way to the door. "Well, I didn’t really question if you were happy or not… Maybe you’re not as happy as you think if you have to reaffirm it?" -11:33 Dec 23
Favisor: "What? I…" she was being analitical! "I don’t think I’m going to answer that. I don’t feel I need to. I know you’re trying to be good and help me be happ but I really am." he let the subject drop. "At least you know I know about tv shows though. Even if Buffy was better." -11:38 Dec 23
Lucky: Yeah, he wasn’t happy at all. Good thing he met her! …or maybe he’d regret it later, that tended to happen a lot. Either way, Lucky just found her new mission! She grinned and let it go for now, side-stepping an icey puddle on the sidewalk. "Only the first few seasons. I still liked Angel more, but then again I am probably biased cause I like broody guys in long coats that do good deeds." -11:41 Dec 23
Favisor: "Well then you’ll hate me, I don’t brood at all." he said sulkily. "You’ll see, even before today is over you’ll be kicking me out of you home and never wanting to see me again! I’m the worst Angel in history!" -11:46 Dec 23
Lucky: Lucky laughed and swatted at his arm. "That’s okay, I’ve had my fill of brooding Angels! They’re always miserable company, and miserable people, and terrible boyfriends and roommates. I think I am just a sucker for the eyes." Lucky pondered that for a bit. Yep, totally the serious staring gaze. She poked at him. "As long as you’re not pulling a scam on me, it’ll be okay." -11:52 Dec 23
Favisor: "Scam?" what possible scame could be be pulling? "I… No, I guess having a person with no house but money is suspicious. But I’m not pulling anything, I don’t even know how. I mean, I’m not that kind of Angel. Seriously." he zipped up, he really was the worst angel of all time. -11:58 Dec 23
Lucky: She grinned and reached up to pinch his cheek. "I didn’t think you were! But you ARE a little strange, even by MY standards." She pointed down the street towards a building that looked like it lived better days. "That’s my building." -12:01 Dec 24
Favisor: He walked towards it but didn’t need to examine it, he knew it well. "At lest I do something right." he said. "Better than everyone else. I’m wierd." he joked. "At least I’m not the dengerous kind of wierd? I mena hermits choose to live alone in mountains and monestaries why should I be any different?" -12:08 Dec 24

[Favisor is in his charge’s home!] -07:46 Dec 24
[Lucky has an apartment that looks like it’s been robbed more than once!] -07:46 Dec 24
Lucky: As soon as she let them in, she locked up the door with three different locks. Then headed straight for the kitchen with the cake and dug out some plates. "Yeah, you’re a good kind of weird. Like my kind of weird! Oh, don’t mind the mess too much. I know where everything is, and it’s not like I ever have any company anyway, so who is going to know?" -07:48 Dec 24
Favisor: Oh goodness he was going to… no he wasn’t but her back was turned… He snapped his fingers while she was busy putting the cake down and in an instant the appartment was spotless. Okay maybe that was a bad idea but she needed to be safe. "Looks alright to me?" he said trying to sound nonchelant. "It’s small.. one bedroom?" -07:52 Dec 24
Lucky: Two plates, two forks, and two glasses of milk. Lucky cut two pieces of the cake and balanced the plates on her arms as she grabbed the glasses and headed back to…! She paused suddenly, blinking at the… non-mess! It must not have been as messy as she thought. Still looking a little confused by it, she brought the plates and cups to the coffee table. "Um, yep! Just one bedroom since it’s me. So you can have the bed or the couch, whichever you like. Oh, I’ll be right back. I gotta put the new fuses in so we’ll have light before it gets dark outside." -07:56 Dec 24
Favisor: "Couch." he said. "And don’t forget to trip the switch before replacing fuses." Just a reminder in case she forgot. Still she had such a tiny cake.. maybe he could make it last a litle longer…. -08:03 Dec 24
Lucky: "There’s a switch…?" She was trying to remember, but just shrugged as she wandered off to the hallway to open up the eletrical box. "I’ll figure it out! So couch then, huh? Okaaaay, but it’s kinda springy! Not that the bed is much better, but it IS bigger and you’ve got long legs." One two, three… five fuses to replace. She hated when they all went at the same time. But at least she found that box! Lucky started unscrewing the first one. -08:11 Dec 24
Favisor: He stepped up next to her and cut the power so she wouldn’t electrocute herself. "It’s your home I wouldn’t take your bed Just for one night as agreed anyway. Here let me do that." he was quick with his fingers and wasn’t taking no for an answer. "I don’t want to inconvenience you." -08:17 Dec 24
Lucky: "All the more reason to take advantage of a bed when it’s just one night, right?" Lucky grinned and leaned against the wall. Watching him switch the fuses. "I just wish I could do more than cake and a couch for you, that’s all." -08:24 Dec 24
Favisor: "I’m more than happy with what I have, I don’t need much." he said "You’re the one who lmost got run over. Have some cake, sugar is good for shock." -08:27 Dec 24
Lucky: Lucky laughed and pushed away so she could finally take off her wet coat and kick off her shoes. "I don’t think I’m in shock, but I should probably take a look at your head again. And, hmm… maybe I should find you something dry to wear. I think I have some other old clothes around here somewhere…" -08:29 Dec 24
Favisor: He had ll the fuses repalced and the power back on in no time then he was shedding his coat and going over to the table to take a seat. "My heda is fine, just a little unp, and it’s not even there anymore. He didn’t even have to check to make sure. "But if it will make you feel better go ahead and look, but really I’m fine. -08:39 Dec 24
Lucky: Plopping down on the couch next to him, probably not as gently as she could have and gave him a good look over. Not a bump, or a cut, or anything out of the ordinary. Lucky smoothed his hair back and gave an affirmative nod. "You look okay enough. I’m glad. Here!" She picked up a plate and fork and handed it over to him. "You can eat this and I’ll dig out something dry. You could even take a hot shower!" -08:46 Dec 24
Favisor: That sounds nice." he said try a bit of cake and smiling. It was good! "Here…" he scooped some up to feed to her and again wasn’t taking no for an answer. "So you’ve got no job? Did you enjoy your old job?" -08:52 Dec 24
[Lucky enters.] -09:00 Dec 24
Lucky: She took the bite and thoughtfully chewed. Deciding it was well worth the purchase and definitely good, she picked up her own plate and took another bite. "Which one? I’ve had a lot! This last one wasn’t great, but my boss was pretty easy to talk in to hiring me back. I think it’s cause I’m the only one willing to wear the costumes." -09:04 Dec 24
Favisor: "Costumes?" he asked hiving her a look. It couldn’t have been… "You should find a job you’re happy with. You don’t have to be an angel to enjoy what you do." he grined and poped another morsel into his mouth and chewed. MAybe she’d make a good angel… "Do you believe in heaven?" -09:11 Dec 24
Lucky: "Yep! I like to think I have a guardian angel out there somewhere. I don’t think I would have made it this long without one!" She punched his shoulder gently. "You probably stole his job today, though. Kudos to you!" -09:14 Dec 24
[(Timeout) Lucky has timed out.] -09:22 Dec 24
Favisor: He rubbed his shoulder. "You eally think that?" he asked looking at her. "Like it’s a person that follows you around and protects you?" he rubbed the back of her neck/ "If you could talk to them, would you want to?" -09:22 Dec 24
Lucky: "Sure, why not? There’s bound to be just as many angels as there are people, and guess not all people would have one. Um… I guess that’s kind of evil to think, but some people are real assholes." She popped another piece of cake in her mouth and looked a bit sheepish. "I’ll find you some clothes." -09:28 Dec 24
Favisor: He put a hand on her shoulder to stop her. "What would you say to them?" he asked. "If you could just say one thing." he wanted to know. If she knew he existed, then what did she think of him? -09:31 Dec 24
Lucky: Lucky seemed a little surprised by the question, then very curious. "Um… Well, I guess I would say Thank you for taking care of me. I don’t have a lot and life isn’t perfect, but I’m glad there’s someone that looks out for me." -09:38 Dec 24
Favisor: "I’ll tell him." he said before letting go of her shoulder. "I’ll shower while you look for clothes? And um.. thank you." -09:47 Dec 24
Lucky: She was completely amused by that. "You’ll tell him, huh? Going to go in to the guardian angel business too, Angel?" Giggling, she leaned to kiss his cheek before jumping up to her feet and heading towards the hall. She paused in the doorway to point towards the bathroom. "Shower is down there and a towel is in there too." -09:50 Dec 24
Favisor: "Guardian angels do public safety too, they’re kindred spirits." he called out following her directions and enterign the bathroom to unbutton and pull off his shirt and shoes, socks and pants followed quickly after. He didn’t need to shoer but she was kind enough to offer and it would be rude not to accept. And he would be shielded by a shower curtain so there would be nothing to worry about! -09:55 Dec 24
Lucky: "You’re really funny!" She wasn’t being sarcastic, she was really laughing! In to her room she went, and found everything in there nice and neat too. Man, she really didn’t remember getting everything cleaned up. …did were there reverse robbers who cleaned things to confuse you? Lucky dug around in her closet and managed to find a tshirt that was definitely a few sizes too big for her, and a robe. She doubt he’d be able to squeeze in to her pants, and wasn’t going to torture him with a dress. Once she had them draped over her arm, she padded back to the bathroom and knocked gently on the door. "I’m coming iiiiin!" -10:01 Dec 24
Favisor: He was behind the curtain and getting the water on. "I really think you’re going to meet your angel some day, maybe sooner than you think." Soap was always slippery but he managed to hold into it and rub some on himself. "And no, I don’t think everyone has one, just those that really need them." -10:10 Dec 24
Lucky: "You know, if you were a creepier guy, that would totally sound like one of those serial killer death promises." Lucky snickered to herself, hanging the shirt and the robe on the towel rack and made sure there was a fresh towel there too. Even her bathroom was neat. Weird! "I found a shirt and a robe, so you’re not gonna have any pants. Which is kinda funny, but you might wanna keep a good hold of your blanket, because I am a creeper." -10:14 Dec 24
Favisor: He was only helf listenign to her as the sound in the shower changed, waler running though his feathers… wonderful. Whaking them and letting the loose ones fall out. "Will do." he said sighing and stretching. Why was water so wonderful? -10:17 Dec 24
Lucky: Lucky was on her way out, afterall she was just kidding about being a creeper. But found herself hesitating at the door. It really didn’t sound like water hitting skin or tile, and maybe it wasn’t something someone would usually notice, but she had to wash her laundry in the shower enough times to tell the difference. On glancing around, he had definitely removed his clothes, though… "And you are sure you are good with just the couch?" There was a twist to her mouth as she squinted at the curtain. That was a weird shadow… -10:21 Dec 24
Favisor: "Absolutely." he said without really listening. Then he was back to shaking out his wings. Damn this was awesome. Pity he couldn’t do this every day. "And don’t worry I can clean my clothes." -10:27 Dec 24
Lucky: "They just need a good drying is all…" Lucky was pretty sure he didn’t have a big hump under that coat of his, but the whole sillouette was just… She stepped a little closer to the shower curtain, her curiosity starting to over take her common sense. -10:30 Dec 24
Favisor: He turned and the wings dissapeared as he started with his hair. It was nice to be able to snap himself clean but a nice shower was always good, and it had been a long time wince that waterfall in Greece. -10:36 Dec 24
Lucky: Snatch! Lucky grabbed the curtain to pull it aside. And all there was, was a very naked, very wet, very surprised man. "Uh…! " Uh oh. A clever excuse, or even honest explanation was not finding it’s way out her mouth. She was a little bit speechless! -10:44 Dec 24
Favisor: He stared… then slowly took the curtain from her hand to pull up an dbide his lower half. Didn’t want her corrupted by… no that hadn’t been relevant in ages. "You really are a creeper…" he said slowly. "Well I guess you’ve seen everything now so I don’t have to worry about not having pants?" -10:48 Dec 24
Lucky: And that’s when she burst out loughing! A nervous high pitch squeak of a laugh, and she very quickly backed up and near stumbled out of the bathroom. Once she was in the living room she was smacking her forehead with her hand. That was kind of dumb! "…Sorry..!" she called down the hall. -10:52 Dec 24
Favisor: He got out and driend himself with a snap and with the towel around himself and pulled the shirt on before he was stepping out. "Don’t worry about it. It’s not like.. well… just don’t worry about it, you didn’t see anything did you?" -10:59 Dec 24
Lucky: "Weeeeelll," she was gesturing with her hands before she caught herself and hid them behind her back with a cough. Seeing a guy naked wasn’t embarrassing. And if she had done it with the -intention- to see him naked, it wouldn’t have been either. But this was an accident because she was apparently bonkers! "No! Didn’t see a thing! Nope! I’ll get you a pillow and a blanket." Lucky made a quick escape to her room to fetch them. -11:06 Dec 24
[Lucky took the opportunity of getting a blanket and a pillow for Angel to take a breather and stop acting weird. Well. Weirder than normal.] -07:07 Dec 25
[Favisor is sitting on the couch with the milk he was poared before it get warm.] -07:09 Dec 25
Lucky: She was completely over thinking she saw something strange in the shower, and the nakedness. It was nice nakedness, really. But that wasn’t the point! No sense getting worked up about it. A few deep breaths and she had that little moment of insanity under control again. A pillow plucked off her bed, and the big thick comforter. He would appreciate being wrapped up warm and cozy for once and she’d be fine with the sheet. Lucky dragged her armful back to the living room. "Here we go! Nice and fluffy and everything. You should sleep really well." -07:12 Dec 25
Favisor: He smiled his thanks and then frowned. "Won’t you be cold?" he asked. "You don’t need to get sick right after ;osong your job?" maybe she had another blanket, maybe he should keep her warm… but with no pants that would be awkward. Still she should take the blanket he had feathers! -07:20 Dec 25
Lucky: "I’ll be fine, jeeze." Even with the words she was grinning. Lucky fluffed up the pillow before dropping it at the end of the sofa, then dropped the blanket down too. She stooped for a moment to pick up her glass and drink it down. "I’ll have a nice hot shower and sleep. And I will see you in the morning, okay?" -07:25 Dec 25
Favisor: "Okay!" he said before placing his glass down and poked the pilow. "Thank you… and good night." he pulled the blanket over himself and closed his eyes wondering if it would be a good idea to dissapear in the middle of the night. She was sweet but she was his change and he has crossed enough lines already. -07:31 Dec 25
Lucky: "Good niiiight, Angel." Lucky was amused by his name, and him on her couch, and the day in general! Definitely the most interesting birthday she had in a really long time. So off she went to the bathroom, after she grabbed some of her clothes from her closet. Ran the hot water, got undressed and stepped in. In the middle of washing her hair and humming a random tune, she stepped on something and squeaked, thinking it was one of those roaches again. But when she looked down… "…feathers?" -07:34 Dec 25
Lucky: Lucky collected all the feathers she found in the shower, setting them out in the sink until she was done with washing. Once she was out and drying her hair, she took the time to dry the feathers too. Long! Plush… too long to be city pigeons. Weeeiird. By the time she finished her girly rituals and had her clothes on, her imagination had gone wild. When she stole a peek, all she saw was the front. No feathers there. But the back? Lucky took her confiscated feathers to the bedroom. And quietly as could be she tip-toed her return to the living room and peering around the doorway at the couch. She had taken so long in the shower, it was pretty late now, maybe he was good and asleep… -07:42 Dec 25

Favisor: He lay there listening to the sound of the water and waiting for them to dissapear and for her to go to bed so he could sneak out. Why did he want to? She’d only look for him and ask why. It was better to.. just… Warm, cuddly blankets, so good! But It was hers. Maybe he should put it on top of her when she falls asleep? -08:28 Dec 25
Lucky: He wasn’t moving and she watched a little bit longer to be sure he was sleeping. Then it was a quiet tip-toeing in. A slapping her hand over her mouth when she thwacked her knee on a chair. And a slow hobble over to the couch. Let’s see… didn’t really look like he had wings stuffed under that shirt. Maybe there were marks or.. stumps! Veeeeeery carefully she reached down to tug on his shirt and move it. -08:48 Dec 25
Favisor: He nuzzled into the pillow and sighed before he stiffened as he felt something move against him. The he opened his eye and swiveeled it to see none other than his host and. "Morning yet?" he asked lifting his head. "Were you planning on tickling me?" -08:57 Dec 25
Lucky: Caught red handed trying to undress a sleeping man. She froze and was once again having the -worst- time trying to think up an excuse to explain herself other than ‘haha, thought you had wings!’ "Um… I was, checking on you…" Not only was it a bad lie, it sounded like a bad lie. Lucky straightened quickly. Thank god it was dark in there. "So… goodnight?" -08:59 Dec 25
Favisor: He turned on his side and looked at her frowning. "Is something wrong?" he asked sitting up. "Are you cold? You can have the blanket. I can keep myself warm. Or we can share it, I’ll just put my underwear back on and it won’t be awkward. Or if you’re not times we can sit under it and talk…" he looked down. "Or you could go to bed. Night." -09:09 Dec 25
Lucky: Lucky relaxed immediately, mostly just looking a bit sheepish as she bent over him and very deliberately tucked the blanket around him. Of course, while she was doing it, she wondered if maybe that seemed a bit creepy, wrapping him up like a mummy after she just stole his shirt… but thankfully he didn’t seem to think she was a psycho. Yet! "No, I’m okay, I’m just a little tired and loopy I guess. I’ll see you in the morning." She patted his head gently, and very quickly excused herself off to bed before things got any weirder! -09:13 Dec 25
