Aidan Paul MacGregor

Radio DJ at ELSWN Radio. Totally normal guy next door kind of dude, and doesn’t seem to notice (or at least doesn’t comment) on all the weird stuff that happens around him. Older brother to Andrea MacGregor. Part of the Elswen universe.

Aidan Paul MacGregor

Gender: Male

Job/Role: Radio DJ

Age: 29

General Appearance: A good looking guy but he’s really not aware of his own charm. Aidan’s hair is a bluish shade of black, cut in a common style. He has small sideburns and though he shaves in the mornings before work, by the evening he tends to have a bit of stubble across a strong jaw line. His eyes are dark blue an very expressive.

Current Goal/Purpose: Aidan has no goals! Okay, well maybe he wants a date with Sasha. A REAL date, not just him inviting her out on various trips and pretending like it’s not a date just so she’ll come.

General Personality: Aidan is “the guy next door”. Every dude’s best friend, every girl’s dream boyfriend. A mother’s favorite son, and father’s pride and joy! And he’s oblivious! Aidan just lives his life the best he can, and isn’t preoccupied with stressing over small things or worrying about the future. He just takes life as it comes and handles it. He loves people and entertaining people, thus he really enjoys his job at the radio station. He treats women like his equals, not like a partner he wants to acquire… thus dating him might be kind of frustrating for any girl that wants to be treated like a princess. Aidan gives everyone a certain amount of trust and respect until they do something to lose his trust. Even that is hard to do, as he seems to have limitless patience. Is there a darker side to Aidan? He’s not found one yet himself. Though, he is sure if he were to have a family, he would be fervently protective of them.

General History:
Aidan grew up on the coast of Oregon with his ex-military father, his baker mother, and younger sister. His life was pretty normal growing up, not really extra ordinary at all. His father was a good dad, ad the family was devastated when he died while his two children were still young. His mother liked to tell them stories about their father’s unusual Irish family. Ties to fantastical creatures or unbelievable tales. Aidan was sure they were all true when he was younger, but having such a non eventful life had him thinking otherwise.

As a teenager, Aidan found himself interested in the world of Radio. He ran the schools morning announcements and show up until he graduated. Then, he moved on to college and found himself doing the same thing there. For awhile he considered other jobs, such as teaching music, being in a band, social working, veterinarian – but he found radio was his favorite.

After leaving college he worked at some local stations before he was offered a job in Washington. He then moved to a small island town called Elswen, where he got immersed in to the strange daily culture. The first time he saw something peculiar he was a little surprised… but then that surprised turned quickly in to a pleased sort of acceptance. It was just a nice feeling to know that stories from his mother could have been true.

Aidan’s daily life consist of getting up, going to work, and occasionally trying to ask that pretty red-head at Page Turner (the local book store) out on a date. When he met her, there was just something special about her. That feeling you get when you know that’s where you want to be. He never makes a big deal about it, he’s just slowly made himself a part of her daily life too. One day he’s kind of hoping she’ll realize just how much he really cares for her.
